London-based Spanish Arriba! was founded in 2003. We are a group of native Spanish speaking tutors, from various countries, teaching our language and culture in London
The diversity of our team is key as it brings together a vibrant mix of cultural backgrounds, professional experience and tuition expertise that gives us a clear difference in the marketplace. We were one of the first organisations in London that recognised students often want to learn different accents and regionalisms (in addition to Spain's) and we have always embraced the value of cultural diversity. Mariela co-founded Spanish Arriba! in 2003. She has been actively involved in teaching, recruiting and managing the team. She holds a Communication Science degree and an MBA, as well as certifications as Spanish tutor. She has worked as Journalist, University Lecturer and HR Advisor for a large Museum in London.
Mariela is from Mexico and moved to the UK over 7 years ago. |

Sonia is a highly prepared and certified language tutor capable of teaching students of all levels and ages with well developed methodologies and practical situations for travel, work and social purposes. She has wide experience in tailoring and delivering "Spanish for Business" courses.
Sonia joined us in February 2005 and is originally from Cordoba-Argentina. |

Ruth holds a degree in Education and a specialty in Language Training. She has taught Spanish to a wide variety of students ranging from Primary school to financial organisations in the City. Ruth engages her students into a dynamic, effective and fun learning session every time by using a range of materials and sources.
